At church

i went to church at sunday, and during service, my american firend text me

she said what r u doing

and i said “i am still in sermon.” And she said it’s not correct

because sermon is noun and they don’t use like that

she said ” i am currently in service” is more correct expression.

but i wanted to say more specific because service means whole time at church.

Actually my pastor is a little boring.. so i wanted to say “i am still….. bula…”

and she tell me if i made sermon as verb, it’s possible but it’s still uncommon.

at that time i realized on more time that is expression of speak.

eveytime when i learn something i always think about that and that is the one

of the reason that learning english is very hard.

After church i met my friend and i asked some questions

-Did you find a new job? (because she just quit her job)

-How was your firstday?

-Do you like your new workerd? (she quited, because of her old worker)

-if i go your restaurant, can i get discount?(it was the most important question)
